What is Impacted: CWS/CMS Application
Describe Impact:

The issue identified prevents editing the AAP Eligibility Page (Adoptions Assistance Program) in the Client Notebook of a closed Adoptions case.

For example, a user may not be able to update the Expected Eligibility End Date Frame by changing the radio button from 18th Birthday to 21st Birthday because the page is read-only.

Users that donít have Adoptions privilege will not be affected by this issue.

On Wednesday, August 15, 2018, starting at 6:00PM, the Ad-Hoc Interim Release R8.3.1 deployment package will be delivered to the CWS/CMS Application. This interim release will address issues as described above and reported in Master Ticket IN11034700.

Please note that there will be no outage.

Any users that have not installed Release 8.3.1 after Wednesday, August 15, 2018 will still be able to access CWS/CMS. However, to benefit from this resolution counties should deploy the update at their earliest opportunity after August 15, 2018.

Action Required

Coexistent Counties -
Distribute the release through the normal county process. Coexistent counties should plan to deploy the update at their earliest opportunity after 6:00PM on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

Dedicated Counties - Release 8.3.1 will be installed automatically via normal release deployment process. For best results the users should do the following on Wednesday, August 15, 2018:

  1. Reboot the workstation and log into Windows at least once to receive the Release 8.3.1 installer.
  2. When leaving the office at the end of that day, reboot the workstation again but do not log into Windows.
  3. Leave the workstation powered on so that automatic installation can occur overnight.

Beginning Monday, August 27, 2018 the workstations that have not installed Release 8.3.1 will receive the following informational message with each CWS/CMS logon:

[Rule 10009] Updates for CWS/CMS Release 8.3.1 are available. To receive them, please restart the workstation (or follow county-specific procedures).
